Pressure relief device for MATO EP pumps
The device reduces internal system oil pressure when the pumps stands idle and allows to vent trapped air, i.e. after drum change or common system start-up. The product works with MATO EP pumps, starting year 6/2018. During system operation some oil re-flows into the drum. For this reason it is indispensable the reflow hose (1.5 m) is connected to the drum/reservoir.
The device comes with a 2" and 3/4" threaded connector for drum and tank mounting

Operating advice: The self-priming electric gear-wheel pumps EP 200- and EP 400-electronic are designed to transfer and dispense moderate or high flow rates. The high pressure output combined with an electronic pump management through makes the pumps particularly suitable for the use with hose reels or for long promotion distances. When the the pump is safely switched off, when the filling gun is opened (pressure decrease), the switch control monitors scosity, hose diameter, temperature, and operates accordingly. The electronic switch control represents a significant to electric gear wheel pumps without this feature. Part of the electronic pump management is a leakage protection runtime that prevents unwanted promotion. The adjustment works in 7 steps, from 2 to 25 minutes, or shut-off.
A pressure relief device (item-no. 34 336 97) is integral part of the electronically managed EP pump.
Please consider that hose and tube diameter, changes in flow direction, promotion distances, oil viscosity determine the system's flowrate. In case of doubt please consult with MATO.
